Signs of Safety
Signs of Safety has been adopted by Suffolk County Council Children and Young People's Services as the overarching practice framework for all of its work with children and families. It describes a purposeful and collaborative way of working with families to secure the best outcomes for children and young people. As we have chosen to apply the approach across all of our services, our programme is called Suffolk Signs of Safety and Wellbeing.
Suffolk Practice Approach (Signs of Safety) Online Learning Resource
This resource has been created to support the workshop learning programme that is open to everyone working collaboratively with children, young people, and their families across Suffolk.
It describes the way that Suffolk’s Children's services, using the Signs of Safety framework as a foundation, work with children, young people and those people important to them, using a safety, solution building and trauma responsive approach.
