Recovery Planning

Agencies within the Suffolk Safeguarding Partnership (SSP) came together to form Tactical Groups during lockdown to discuss urgent safeguarding issues emerging in Suffolk from the pandemic.

To find out what agencies were involved, please see our dedicated page on the SSPs response to COVID here.

As part of these Tactical Meetings, agencies pulled together a key document called the Recovery Plan. This document is aimed at all organisations who have safeguarding responsibilities to help them prepare their own internal Recovery Plans. It does this by detailing;

  • The main issues that adults, children and families have been facing during COVID-19
  • What the perceived future risks are to adults, children and families (based on intelligence from agencies at the Tactical Meetings)
